The shaft is supported by ball bearings rather than bushings like the rest for longest possible life and perfect spark distribution. Next we add the AAA MARINE Compu-trol super high voltage red or black coil, designed specifically for this purpose. Next we add custom red spark plug wires to contain this powerful coil. The two resistors and two diodes must be soldered in place on the wires leading to your present ESA switch, which is right on top of the engine and easily done. This "tricks" it into thinking you still have points, so your shifting remains the same. We've done thousands of these since 1996 with absolutely no problems.
