We start with the finest marine distributor ever built-Pertronix. It features a CNC machined aluminum billet case highly polished, and supported with a ball bearing shaft instead of bushings like the rest of them. Next is the AAA MARINE high voltage red or black coil designed specifically for this job. And our red spark plug wires are custom fit for extreme performance marine punishment. Two resistors and two diodes (shown and furnished) must be soldered in place in the wires leading to the ESA switch on top of your engine. The shaft is supported by ball bearings rather than bushings like the rest for longest possible life and perfect spark distribution. Next we add the AAA MARINE Compu-trol super high voltage red or black coil, designed specifically for this purpose. Next we add custom red spark plug wires to contain this powerful coil. The two resistors and two diodes must be soldered in place on the wires leading to your present ESA switch, which is right on top of the engine and easily done. This "tricks" it into thinking you still have points, so your shifting remains the same. We've done thousands of these since 1996 with absolutely no problems.
