CDI 123-9898-P OMC COBRA ESA conversion module used when converting to electronic ignition
This new ESA module for OMC Cobras actually takes the place of the original, and allows you to shift just like you did when using points. If you don't wish this expense, we have an alternative method that costs $20 for doing the same job. (Soldering is required on the $20 kit) If you are using the AAA MARINE HEI marine distributor, the kit you need is 423-3000 CDI. This is the ONLY way to use an HEI distributor with an OMC Cobra. Anything else will damage your outdrive! These are both plug and play kits for a very simple installation.
