Large diameter cap with brass male terminals eliminates spark carryover (misfiring) considered common in many other systems. Our high performance coil is mounted internally out of the harsh marine envionment, and is about double the voltage of old style oil filled coils. Base is vented and cap is sealed to pass J1171 requirements for marine use by the U.S.C.G.
Advance curve is pre-set for fastest starting plus high performance and fuel economy. Available for most Chev V8 and 4.3 V6 and 302 Ford. (351W soon!) Replaces MerCruiser, Volvo, OMC, Pleasurecraft, etc. electronic or point-type.
