The dual-port intake manifolds increase the mixture velocity greatly at cruising speeds which enhances the low and mid-range torque and fuel economy. When you open your secondaries, the mixture flow is almost forced into the intake valve because of the high speed in the primary port, so you’re gaining power and economy although the entire RPM range.
